youngmoney14 Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 hi guys im new at this im looking to lift my 1998 subaru outback 2.5 i am buying a lift from scott at sjr lifts a 6in i am hoping to run 33in tires but he told me i cant run the stock struts on the lift he did not know what struts to use i did not know if anyone here knew what struts would allow me to run a 31 or 33 in tire thanks in advance for your input 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Prwa101 Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 The only way you'll clear that size of tire is to run a huge wheel spacer and offset wheels. Or do a lower strut lift. Offered by myself soon. Allows 5" larger tire than stock allows. And gives 2.5" of lift at half the cost. Or fork out 1200$ and buy a set of custom BC racing coil overs. (No spring perch to limit tire) and you can get about 4+" of lift out of the coil over. Personally for the money another 300$ is well worth it!
