Glen4X4
The driver side low beam is not working. I have checked the fuse in the fuse box under the hood and tested the relay in the box as well and its working correctly. The plug going to the headlight looks fine....Is there a common issue with this generation of Legacy? Anything specifically to look? I appreciate any helpful advice as to where to start looking. Right now it's looking as if I'm going to have to trace wires.
Fairtax4me
Alot of these have problems with the connectors burning. That's usually pretty obvious though. Have you tried swapping bulbs left to right to rule out a bad bulb?

Cougar
The trouble is most likely with the connector going to the bulb. Get a test light and check for voltage getting to the bulb. If voltage is getting to it then you have a ground lead connection problem.
Rooster2
Also............fyi, when replacing a head light bulb, don't touch the glass portion of the bulb. Any oil from your fingers causes extra heat build up on the glass, that leads to the bulb burning out quicker. Best to clean off the glass with kleenex and rubbing alcohol at time of installation.
