sethicus
Hey guys so i was at the wrecker today and grabbed a new hood and a hub with ball joint. And i also found a 2001 outback and took all the struts and springs when i got home i installed the fronts no problems and then found the rears are completely different. I now read that outback struts only work up to 99 will i be okay leaving my front struts on and just getting older rear struts? Or will i run into issues? Thanks guys for all of the help! Fairtax4me
Sorry you got the wrong ones. Fronts should be the same though. Grab some rear struts from a 96-99 Outback and you should be good to go.
