nerpel
So i have an 06 outback. The other day while driving the engine light came on and the cruise started flashing. So i ran the codes and got bank one number one oxy sensor. So i replaced it. With only a lil change but not much. So my question is! Can i hollow out my cats? lstevens76
Why do you believe your cats are the problem? And hollowing them out on a newer car isn't going to help. In newer cars the second O2 sensor is behind the cats so it reads what it expects to "AFTER" the cats do there work. If it can't read the correct information it's not going to clear up your problem. Fairtax4me
Hollow out the cats and you'll just get more check engine light. What was the code you got?
AdventureSubaru
Getting pretty basic here. Did you clear the codes or just replace the 02 sensor? OEM part or aftermarket? any recent work etc./check for vac leaks? Edited May 5, 2015 by AdventureSubaru
nipper
I despise hollowing out cats in a modern car, give us more info, miles etc.
