enid3216
Just got my first car and I'm some what of a gear head. I am proud owner of a 98' Legacy GT Wagon (manual) and am lovin it. I bought with about 175,000 miles on it and it had some problems. Problems that came with it were overheating, a leak in the power steering pump, tachometer and odometer don't work. I have fixed the overheating problem, and replaced the power steering pump but i don't know how to fix my odometer and tach. The guy i bought the car off of told me that it was a common problem with my year of car and there was an easy fix if you put a screw in the blue connector behind the cluster and i did just that but it didn't work. Before i go and spend my money on parts and spoob does anybody have any input on what i could do to fix it without spending a ton of money? Thank you so much.
matt167
the screw behind the connector works sometimes. Otherwise, solder on the broken connection works better
