samisunjp
So I was going down a back road today at about 35 mph and hit a pothole or rock not really sure which, and about an hour later when getting out of my car I noticed that my front left rim was bent ( see pictures). The tire seems to be holding air fine and I got up to 60 mph without feeling anything weird in the car. So is the damage bad enough that I need to get them fixed? If so does les schwab fix bent rims, and if so how much is it going to set me back as I am really strapped for cash right now?
turbosubarubrat
As long as your tire doesn't loose air or goes flat your fine. If it does i would just put on a used rim since there pretty common.

And since it is holding air it would be fine to pound it out with a piece of wood and a large hammer or more carefully with just a hammer. Good luck and glad it wasn't worse for you! All the best, Aaron
Subasaurus
got a bent rim just like what you have, you must have hit that hard. I hit a ridiculous pothole on I10, been fine for the 1 1/2years after i hit the pothole and driving with the bent corner, (does not mean your's is safe also), i did rebalance the wheel though, not sure if it was my imagination or it was actually vibrating alittle on the highway. free unlimited balancing on my tires so thats why i did it. be glad your tire did not pop! could have flipped over and bye bye to your wagon. l75eya
Just hammer it back. Careful you don't miss and hit the tire. Hammer will bounce right back at you.
Subarule
Maybe Hub Cap Annie has a replacement rim for you... http://www.superpages.com/bp/Rainier-OR/Hub-Cap-Annie-L2035545570.htm Located in Rainier Oregon.
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
And since it is holding air it would be fine to pound it out with a piece of wood and a large hammer or more carefully with just a hammer... I agree with the Above Comment, but adding my Advice: Use those with the Wheel being OUTSIDE the Car, and the Tire inflated. Otherwise you'll damage the ball Bearings without noticing it immediately... Kind Regards.
Dee2
Good opportunity to get yourself a full sized spare. Put the bent rim with a spare tire and the new rim on the car for use.
