impostor
I have the engine out of my brat to replace the crank and rod bearings and I noticed the ring gear teeth are pretty chewed up. I can't seem to find a new replacement anywhere. Even just a new ring gear would be OK. As a last resort I could rotate the ring gear but I would rather just replace the thing. Anyone have any leads? moosens
Used is what I have resorted to. Thanks or the reminder , I need to swap mine for the same reason. And as you probably know already it'll always be on that chewed spot when you are in front of a crowd. Something most morons don't understand and they snicker as if your car is a pos.
impostor
Ended up just rotating the ring gear 90 degrees. Working great so far.
