BEECHBM69
I did a search ahead of time, and saw nothing definitive, so I went ahead with an experiment. I found a rebuilt EA71 carb online for cheap. As I was having idle issues and already toying with rebuilding my carb, I figured swapping this one in while I was rebuilding the other would hold me over. I hadn't planned on driving it long term...... Until I did the swap........ The car runs like a top: idle, off idle, full throttle, it runs absolutely beautifully. Probably better than any other time since I've had it (I even got the A/C idle up to work right.) My concern is what I read elsewhere about the jetting being smaller. Is there any way running smaller jets will cause enough of a lean condition to hurt anything? Since I can't tell any appreciable loss in power, logic says not, but I wanted to check with the pros before I did something dumb. Thanks in advance for any information.
