tanner_mcguire98
So I just bought a 93 loyale, 5 speed with the pushbutton 4wd and it needs new tires pretty soon. However I do want to lift it at some point, not to much lift but just like a 2" lift on some 15" rims and wider 18 ish tires. Something the little 1.8 can handle right now haha. I see it has a very stupid rare 4x140 lug pattern and was wondering if there is a way to do a 4x100 conversion to it for a decently cheap price? Anybody have any ideas? I don't know subarus very well and would like some help. Any answers welcome! Thanks!
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
There are some members making Adapter plates to allow the use of Alternative Wheels, Here is an Example: ~► http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/138796-4x140-to-5x100-bolt-pattern-adapters/?do=findComment&comment=1168312 In my case, I prefer to Redrill the Hubs; I did a 4X114.3 redrill since 1996, and I have been driving my Subie like that since then without issues. Kind Regards. Edited June 10, 2015 by Loyale 2.7 Turbo

86 Wonder Wedge
Running with redrilled hubs is an option, but wouldn't that force you to find either 1) a wheel with a MASSIVE/correct size center hub in order to remain hub centric or 2) run lug-centric wheels which isn't the best way to go? Or do you grind the hub nubs down and just run lug centric rims anyway?
Loyale 2.7 Turbo
... a wheel with a MASSIVE/correct size center hub ... That is almost impossible to find in other pattern than 4X140. ... grind the hub nubs down and just run lug centric rims ... That has been working Flawlessly for me, since 1996. Kind Regards.
