Help needed

if its an authentic sjr lift then you probably have the blocks backwards.  the bottom should angle in towords the shock tower.

if its a home built you have to offset the top and bottom of the lift block to fix the camber.

I actually purchased the set from another board member here.

I've also tried reversing it but it would not fit up. The strut tops were hitting the fender wall.

I'll try it again and hopefully It will work. I'll be sure to roll it back as well once I finish the rear lift.

Thanks for all the advice.

Thanks for the help turned it around and re installed it, it was a pretty tight fit. Just a slight camber left.

I'll try rolling it back once I finish the back.

You think I might need an alignment after?

Anyone know the bolt size and thread for the rear axle?

Bolt broke when I was trying to remove for the lift blocks.

probably on the alignment.  if its not a daily driver or you dont drive it much, check out the youtube stuff on home alignments.  with a little practice you can get pretty good, especially if it was in alignment before.

did you drop the crossmember and radius rods as well?

It will be a daily driver, I will look into the alignment.

I drop the crossmember already but not to sure about the radius rod. Where is that located?

After the lift I tried putting all the engine components back.

Now I have this small kink in my lower radiator hose. image_6.jpg

Would I need to put a flexible hose? Or can I modify the old one?

I was surprised the upper hose was fine. I've been reading that that's the one that needs to be replaced.

On another note, I've also replace my alternator with a maxima radiator, just wonder which wires goes to what?

Thanks again.

with a small lift, I was able to use zip ties around the light kink in the hose to open it back up a bit.  has been working fine for me, but if its actually kinked then yes you will have to fab it.  maybe cut it and install an elbow fitting?

radius rods are the metal shafts that go from the lower control arm to the body under the door.  I believe they are part of the trans mount assembly, or are very close to it anyway.

Beechbm69: not to many junk yard around here, and unfortunately most of the older car are already deteriorated.

If you get a chance I greatly appreciated it.

Djellum: I'll try the zip tie trick, hopefully that will fix it. If the SJR kit came with the blocks for the radius arms then yes I have lifted that as well. I'll take a picture of that also to make sure it's the right one. Is there anything else im missing to complete the front?

I also have this:

image_12.jpg

I've been trying to wire it up and can't seem to get it working. I followed the 6 plug from the light to the 6 plug to the relay (I think) and just wired it up base on the color then I ran the two green wires after to a relay and switch.image_10.jpg Once I tried plugged it in, I started hearing cracking noises, but once I turn the switch on the noise went away.

Anyone encountered this problem before? Or anyone have any avice on wiring?

Thanks.

So I think I figured out the alternator wiring, looked on line and found how to wire it up.

But still having trouble trying to wire up the third eye( cyclops light).

Anyone have a diagram or write ups on how to wire. I have a factory mistuba relay but don't know when the two green wire go after.

Thanks for the help.
