Need help with a clutch kit compatibility

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, i hope you could help me, i have an issue with my Impreza 98 1.6 FWD EJ16 engine, this model never saw the light in USA, just in Europe and Latin America, so i'm trying to buy a compatible Clutch Kit in Amazon, some guy told me that the transmission of the Impreza EJ18 engine (USA Model) is the same of EJ16 is this true ? i'm abut to buy this kit, also a Sachs flywheel ->

EXEDY 15014 OEM Replacement Clutch Kit -> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001B5E63U/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Sachs NFW6605 Clutch Flywheel -> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00199G0NC/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I wonder if any of you guys, could tell me for sure if this will works

Don't bother look for the parts compatibilty since that model isn't listed on USA and those parts are for USA only i tried the specs and the EJ16 Cluth specs are:

 KW / HP / Cyl / Valves:

66 / 90 / 4 / 4

Outer Diameter(mm) / Number of Splines / Pitch Circle Diameter(mm):

190 / 21 / 225

Thanx a lot, any help will be apreciated =)

Hi,

go here:

http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/

Choose your year range from the European or US.

And for the 1.6, FWD; DL model:

 http://opposedforces.com/parts/impreza/en_g10/type_1/manual_transmission/clutch/illustration_1/

This is a Subaru parts site that might be useful for part lookup...if they are the same for US and EU.

GL,

TD
