BulldogBlitz
On my '85 Brat i've been looking for a replacement part for what I'm not sure what the proper name is. Can you guys help a noob? Chilton's says Main Vacuum Diaphragm? I haven't gotten much luck out of that so I feel like I'm looking for the wrong thing as that might just be a generic name? Here's a picture. It's the grey topped little devil. http://i.imgur.com/5CqqKNG.jpg Thanks for any help!
ihscout54
I think the name for that is fast idle control device (FICD) actuator. If you dont have working A/C this is probably not worth the trouble of sourcing or replacing. Such a device was used on many cars of the era so if you cant find the right one maybe you can modify a different one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NISSAN-ACTUATOR-FICD-NOS-PART-27656-H7200-/151642304933?hash=item234e95f1a5&vxp=mtr
wagonist
Some might know it as the air con idle advance actuator. Never heard of one going wrong before though. it's just activate by sucking on the port on the back, which pulls the lever in, and hence pulling on the throttle.
