mcnea001
All: Doing some last minute cleaning while I am waiting for final parts shipment. I am replacing clutch / seals on my 1995 Legacy Wagon / EJ22. I bought this car second hand so not sure of its history. In cleaning under the intake manifold today I found the following bracket. It was oil caked...so it has been there awhile. Any idea location / function? Thanks, Tom
porcupine73
Hm I have seen that part before but I can't remember where it was located. For some reason the starter comes to mind but I can't picture it.
Fairtax4me
Bracket that the large alternator pivot bolt tightens against. It sits on the back arm of the alternator, the bolt slides through and threads into that.
