nickoalleno
Ok under neath the driver side dash, close to the stereo and heater core there is white double sided 3 prongs on each side to make 6 each hole labeled 1 2 and 3. This is a 93 ea82 spfi loyale. I'm having trouble with the defroster getting as hot as every other mode and wondering if this is properly hooked up? nickoalleno
Sorry about bad pic quality but in the pic you'll notice the white connector, hoses 2 and 3 are connected on the bottom, no hose on the top spot which is labeled

jono
what is HVAC short for ? seen it before, assumed it was something else, now suspect it is cabin heater related if I recall, EA82 onwards Fuji don't use heater taps to bypass hot water/coolant flowing into dash gear. Can you adjust things by hand to at least direct fan air flow to windscreen ?
wagonist
Heater & ventilation air control (or something similar). Completely different setup to Aus models, so I don't think we're going to be able to help but as Jono said, can you get under there & move the flaps manually? The one for the demister is right up the top. It's not unusual for leaves & other debris to somehow make their way into the heater box, especially if you don't have aircon. nickoalleno
I do have air conditioning, all the flaps for the vents seem to do there job and direct air in the proper position with one exception, I do not receive any defrost air flow on the passenger side from the clock on the dash onward toward the right, drive side works great and so does all other modes, I have tried cleaning this defroster vent and checking for any plugs and nothing,
