superpoo93
I replaced the carpet from an 87 d/r ea82 donor, and it looks great. The issue is that the retractors (door side) on both front seats block the seats from moving all the back. I have tried postioning them differently but same result. When i have the tab with two spikes faced to carpet the tensioner, cocks to inside of the car.... Well really any postion it cocks inboard. This postion does not allow the front seats to move far enough for any person height to sit in front seats and the seat belt are locked. I have searched here and with Google and found nothing. Your assistance would be appreciated. Thank you

superpoo93
Ok, you know when you one of those DUH!!! Moments...well. Did you notice the postion of the retractor?? It was right in line with the center pillar... Mmm, not correct postion. There are two bolt hole locations, and I only saw the one... The wrong one. The one lower and back is the correct location to anchor retractor. Question, why are there two?? For non-automatic seatbelts
