The door alarm lights work correctly on the other 4 doors, but the back door open light will not go out when the door is 100% closed. Any suggestions on how to correct/ Thanks. porcupine73 Posted January 28, 2016 Share Posted January 28, 2016 Probably not your issue but I had this problem on my '00obw. It turned out it was because of the rubber cargo mat. For some reason on mine if that's even slightly back too far, the door closes like normal but the light stays on. Legback0203 Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 My outback and legacy both had a similar issue. On mine the handle to open the trunk was sticky.
