justinthesubie
Hello fellas. I came across a engine with dual carburetors. I believe I have a ea81 built by nsi airplane company with the dual carburetor setup from a Japanese rx. I really need a vacuum diagram for the dual carburetor setup. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated. Thanks. Justin Edited February 1, 2016 by justinthesubie

jono
how many vacuum ports and devices have you got to deal with ? I think mine are very minimal such as for the vac advance and not much more from memory ??
justinthesubie
Not really much there. Vac valve for the choke i think. Two other ones off of the carb just going nowhere. My choke linkage is not hooked up either. Trying to get pictures now
justinthesubie
After looking really close to the pictures given and my setup. I think I got it pretty close to what it should look like. It runs but the carburetors will probably need rebuilt. Very excited as this is the only one I had ever seen. Hadn't seen the nsi motor, then researched it online. Hadn't seen the dual carburetor setup, then researched it online. Lol. I got this setup in a car with a ton of other subie goodies. This is the only intake that fits this motor as well <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://s149.photobucket.com/user/justinthesubie/embed/slideshow/Mobile%20Uploads"></iframe> Edited February 2, 2016 by justinthesubie
hatchsub
Wow pretty jealous of that. When i had a EA81 subaru i was looking for one of those motors. I must have looked for three or 4 years on and off and never did come across one that was accessible to me. Good luck with it.
justinthesubie
I can't wait. Should be a lot of fun to drive. Though it would be nice if it was a rx motor. But this one is supposed to have 108hp
TomRhere
Roughly speaking here, but 30 HP over a stock EA81 engine is nothing to complain about. I'd be "Happy" with it.
