wtdash Posted February 20, 2016 Share Posted February 20, 2016 Hi, Remember to Search as this is covered on here, and you'll find the info on other Subie sites too. 1990-91 are 4.11 FD Ratio, same as the '95-'98 EJ22-equipped Subaru Legacy and Impreza. It is plug-n-play w/the TCU (trans computer) so no need to change it. You could also use the '96-'98 EJ25-equipped Subarus, but you'll need the matching 4.44 FD ratio rear diff. baltimore Posted February 20, 2016 Author Share Posted February 20, 2016 i did drain and change the fluid twice never pulled the pan wont shift out of 1st unless you feather the gas or push the manual button then shifts normally .I think reading man button locks out 1st an od once out of 1st man button off it shifts normally thru gears and into od but it doesn't engage i guess the right word does have 285k on it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
