unibrook
2001 Forester 5MT with 143k on her. The slave was replaced 4 yrs ago, the master replaced 6 months ago, and the clutch plates and flywheel replaced 4 months ago. The clutch pedal does not act soft or spongey at all now, the way it did when the master or slave was going bad. Any thoughts?
Fairtax4me
Any less difficult if you press the clutch pedal twice? If you press the pedal then wait 3-5 seconds before trying to move into gear?
gbhrps
unibrook, I would rebleed the slave cylinder or replace it, and then consider replacing the tranny fluid with RedLine MT90. This is where I would start. Good Luck!
1 Lucky Texan
if you have synthetic gear lube in the trans, switching to a non-synth GL-5 might help.
