KristjanJohann
What do I need to do with my fuel system in my carburated L-Series so I can run the N/A 2.0l EJ motor? I know that I cannot use the carb fuel pump, could I use the fuel pump from a Loyale SPFI? Or maybe a EA82T pump? I have a Walbro 255lph that goes in the car when my turbo EJ motor will be ready next year but I'm doing a N/A swap first so I can fix everything this year that needs to be fixed and do my 5x100 swap and suspension and I want to have the car running whilst I fix it. Numbchux
If you have the Walbro, seems easiest to just swap that in. It'll be overkill, but that's fine. Stock SPFI pump works just fine for an N/A EJ. Make sure you upgrade all the pressurized rubber fuel lines, too.
KristjanJohann
Thanks man. I appreciate the time you take on answer the threads on here. See your posts in all the EJ Q threads. I also have your pdf in my phoe and my computer So if I just put the walbro in straight away it wouldn't ve a problem, good. So I'll do that and change all the rubber lines. Should I just get regular rubber fuel lines or braided steel ones?
KristjanJohann
And the inline walbro just goes in place of stock pump next to the rear right tire right?
Numbchux
Yep, EA82 pump is under the car near the RR tire. Rubber Fuel Injection line is perfect.
