GoldDiggerRoo
Hi gang! Well, last week my sister and I parted out my forsaken '84 GL 4wd wagon until you couldn't even tell it was a subie (BTW, have lots of nice parts if anyone is interested) and this week I've somehow managed to pick up yet another. This time I got a '84 GL Hatchback. The car is 2wd automatic, silver with blue interior and is in really great shape. Hopefully I can get it painted soon, but 4WD spoke wheels will go on as soon as it gets home Anyone got an idea or example of what color I should paint it? I was thinking either orange or really bright yellow. ~S

GoldDiggerRoo
Yeah, I love those too, but I really like the factory orange also. Oh, I was mis-informed; my hatch is an '88 NOT a '84 like I said before. I went along with it since it has the older look, not like the loyale. The car is in premo shape though, even the stero system still works great, none of that dash speaker fuzz that we've all come to hate. I managed to wash it and get my white spoke wheels on it tonight; it looks fantastic. Hopefully I'll have some pics soon. ~S

XT Fan
Hey GoldDiggerRoo, I'm in VA too. How dare you imply that the 88 is OLD. Late '80's are all that I have driven. I believe the oldest was an 85. What part of VA are you in? I live in Norfolk, close to the Bay. Currently NO Sube, mine got smashed recently and I am waiting for my Husband to put another one together for me! Gotta love that:brow: . Linda

Linda I'm in the Roanoke area, the other end of the state wouldn't ya know it. Hehe, the '88 isn't old at all, infact it is the newest car I've ever owned (I traded a '69 Dodge to get this 'roo) I'm no stranger to old cars. Good to know I'm not the only Sube fan in Va. There is a local club, but it's really just WRX's. Hope you find another subie soon, I saw an XT for sale just the other day, near where I got mine. Good idea on getting your hubby to put another together for ya, nice to have someone else do the dirty work! ~S
