ajp
just looking for a good mechanic for my 84GL. I was going to have Rick and Matt (in Oregon City) help me, but the fingers are screaming hard, and she goes with the brakes on. the throw out bearing has been complaining for about 2000 miles, and finally took a $&^*! thanks
MR_Loyale
If she goes with the brakes on, the brakes should be your first concern. Edited March 18, 2016 by MR_Loyale
ajp
haha. I just meant that it doesn't stall out immediately. I just did all the brakes. Edited March 19, 2016 by ajp

ajp
either really. i found a shop that will do it soon, just don't have any experience with them. hoping for some local advice.
jonas
I've used AAMCO, (for a Jeep) they did fine, just more expensive. They wanted $600.00 to do an '84 sube clutch. Crazy. I would look at Oregon Transmission Service off of Garfield. No personal experience, but they've been around for decades and always seem to have plenty of business.
