Downwash77 Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 (This vehicle equiped for optional ac) is printed on the hvac head. I want to install ac, what is the car actually equipped with? MR_Loyale Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 (edited) Open the hood and look for capped stubs that would be for the evaporater. Then you would most likely need a reciever dryer and compressor along with the hoses to hom it all together. Check to see if there is a condenser in front of the radiator. TomRhere Posted April 22, 2016 Share Posted April 22, 2016 All the decal means is that the main wiring harness and the heater controls are A/C ready. You need the compressor, it's mount bracket, drive belt, condenser, evaporator, drier, all of the lines, relays, another electric fan. You will need to pull the dash unit loose to install the evaporator housing. There's a flex tube between blower housing and heater core housing.
