moosens
There's been Gen II windshield gaskets retailing consistently. You guys don't look hard enough. They've been as low as $62 or so a few years back. PRP should have Gen II in stock. They made our Gen I's awhile back. There is a fairly current thread on them over in Historic. Get a group purchase going thru PRP like we did and your gaskets will be more like $38-46 each.
carfreak85
Paul, how about Gen-2 hardtop rear windshield gaskets? Looks like I might be in the market for one of those shortly....
wagonist
Is this a generic one? I've been looking around for a Gen III version, but needs to fit the factory chrome inserts. No luck so far...

You talking about a ea81 coupe correct? Your going to have to do what I did and contact a place in Australia that I seem to remember being called Phils rotary and fast fours. Coupes are a different animal from all other ea81 vehicles.
carfreak85
Yes, EA81 coupe. I knew they were different, but I have no idea where to start looking for new rubber for this beast. Email sent... Edited May 3, 2016 by carfreak85
moosens
I don't have anything like that for those 80's cars. PRP is Precision Replacement Parts. They work with those sweatshops in Thailand where the rubber comes from and you get some fresh stuff let me tell ya. Whoever receives the lot had better not mind rubber smell. Get yourselves a contact there. Our guy was Derek Churchyard who moved elsewhere within the company. The second guy I can't think of right now but all you REALLY NEED TO DO is call them and say you are an enthusiast group and want to purchase a bulk order. Ask them what's their minimum order and say "OK , we can do this". Of course , you might want to get a post going unless one or a few of you want to get 50 and retail. We've watched the Gen I Brat take off and you know the Gen II is just as desireable (hack, cough) so seriously, I don't see how you guys could go wrong. There's a few deep pocket guys here who could do it but you know they won't so get yourselves a good little group and do some math. Yours will be the freshest made and you can prove it. that deserves $75+ , screw the guy with the old stock for a few bucks less. Cost will be under $50 ea. I'm sure.

SteelyDel
It's been a week since I ordered mine, I guess it's coming from the same source. Put me on the list if anyone ordering (in bulk) front, rear windshield and sunroof seals for an 84 wagon. Thank you Gentlemen!!
