1979_GL_MINT
Hi again yall, does anyone have a link to a page for a front push bar and/or roll bar for a 1979 Brat... Or a good diagram of one that I can build. I will have em anyways. I don't want a full size front bumper (full width, uh-uh), but one that sticks out in the middle of the front Also lookin for a roll bar for same year, that will go above cab for headroom in jump seats. I don't like the mushroom style though. Anyone that can help or send me a pic I would appreciate it blasterbike519@yahoo.com James
Flow
This pic is of an "A" bar for a EA-81 that I used as a model for the one I built for my EA-82. Mine is a total custom job as I had some front end damage that pushed the lower radiator support around. Had to "eyeball" everything but it came out all right. Building it yourself give you lots of freedom. I built in a beefy skidplate as well. Good luck!

The first one has a Brat with a front winch bumper next to a wagon with an "A" style pushbar on it. The next pic has the one of the Brat roll bar with the jumpseats attached to it. 1979_GL_MINT
Russ, how do you shave bumpers? My brat hnas a bunch of body holes that are huge in front. Rear wouldn't be too hard I'm confuzzled, cuz I wanna be able to off-road, but want good mileage for my travelling. I will probably go for a bit more off-roar rig look, because this'll be my fishing rig. lol, I've wanted one forever. Thanks man, ur a lifesaver. When I get back in school I will start on my front A bar and roll bar, maybe post a few pics. Later Soobies, James
Caboobaroo
Hey James, glad that I could help you. As for the shaved bumpers, I pulled the bumpers out of the car (mounts and all) and then I welded some sheetmetal over the holes, ground down the welds so it was flush and vola, done:D If ya need anymore help, lemme know. I just put EA81 front suspension under the front of my wagon and the parts are so much cheaper and parts are a lot more avalible
