superooo
At the Aurora co pap, anything i should look for on this car?as far as rarities, or anything yous guys need?
moosens
If the car is solid grab it if you can. Here in the States its historic and desirable. If it's a rust beast then any front bar or protector , and generally anything worth salvaging. I realize it's not something you need to stockpile but please give it a good look over and report on seats , plastic , etc. That should have a 1400 with liners not wet sleeves. Those engines are very rare. They were the engineering exercise preceding the next 1600. Only the 4wd wagons got those. Front grill and round orange lights sell. Rear hatch in solid shape is a general rarity. And the infamous "city horn / country horn". Check out the switch on the dash for that. Funky and cool. I need to replace my '78 soon and was hoping to go to a 75-77 Stage I 4WD , so please if it's REALLY solid let me know and I might leap. I'll be in AZ in a month maybe less. If it can be had I might be the guy tugging it eastward. Thanks for posting! Edited June 7, 2016 by moosens
superooo
Im not sure about the city horn thing, but heres pictures. Thinking of getting the grill to save from the crusha, 67k on the odo, looks like it was parked in a field for 20 years.
superooo
It has the key in ignition, only one key so i believe original master key with full set of locks. And ignition. Tell me more about this horn
moosens
You didn't see the switch that literally says " city/country" ??? It's real , not joking. Look closer.

moosens
Straight front bumper and decent enough front valance. At the very least I'd expect a Stage I owner might want to adapt that face onto their squared light , squared bumper , butt ugly car.
superooo
Are you saying that grill would fit a brat or somethimg? That would look pretty cool.. there was a switch that said horn but didnt see city country anywhere, its pretty rusted tho, probably too far gone, and lots of dent
Rust
Another rare one gets crushed again, too bad it wound up at the slaughter house. Never ceases to amaze me what is considered scrap out west.
superooo
I'm going by there again today I'll ask if they would sell the whole thing and for how much
moosens
It does look bad at that left rear wheel arch but the rest to me says "save me!!!". I see the Country horn thing in the pic. Look at the pull switch and look at the backing plate or whatever the switch comes out of. And no I'm sorry but I don't think you'd have an easy time putting tha nose on a Brat. This body style ended the year before the Brat came.
