moosens
For your gen one Brat or 1972-79 sedan , wagon , and HT The Coupe is just a bit larger in the upper ears. Some folks have stretched the one in stock to make work on Coupes but no promises. If that's what you have - Coupe - then search threads or talk to Subaru3-Todd who has done it. I may need to correct this but the PRP item number should be WCR-288 Precision Replacement Parts Moderators - Sticky this ?? Grisezd
Received my gasket in just a few days. Nice. It will be great having a new one in there after paint this winter. I had hoped that the replacement would have omitted the trim channel. It's there, of course, and beggars can't be choosers. Is the trim a commonly available item? Can I run without it? Thanks again to all who worked to make the seal available!
Subieguy
You don't need the trim. Mine has been in my 78 Brat for almost 2 years now. No problems. The trim is just a cosmetic piece.
Grisezd
Awesome. It didn't seem like a lock strip when I pulled it out.
waimaks
To confirm, this is a front windscreen rubber? Do they sell to the public?

Leeroy
As an FYI the plastic/metal backed chrome trim for the EA81 models fits the early models very well, with some cutting and a join for the top piece. The original was 'all' plastic and is mostly all dead now!
Wiclipse95
Where can I get a new windshield? I have a 1979 Brat
cubastreet
Glass dealers in New Zealand have new windscreens available, so ask around. For some reason it took prp about a month to get back to me when I inquired but I got the gasket from Australia off eBay. The seller was Phil's rotaries or something like that.
SUBARU3
It's the GF hardtop that differs. It's top corners are a wee bit different.
djcommie
I have a Sedan/Wagon windshield that I totally forgot I had, and I have a fancy crate to safely ship it!
