lrgvanman
Anyone know where to find one of these? It is a Disk Brake Tool for twisting while turning to compress the piston. Thanks from Larry G.
987687
I just use a pair of pliers or vise grips or something. If the piston is really tight/stuck you have other problems. Undo the bleeder screw so you're just pushing fluid out the caliper, not back into the system. Should make things easier.
turbosubarubrat
I just use a grinder wrench that has 2 pins. It works pretty good considering you don't have to change brakes very often. If i want to get fancy i could cut off the head and weld a socket to it to make it go faster with a ratchet. At harbor freight they have a little cube that does the same thing for a 3/8 ratchet not sure if it will work on these or not but they're less than $10. Dee2
I used the cube tool when I was working on my brakes. It worked well. I tried to use pliers but didn't have much success. I found the cube at NAPA.
lrgvanman
I recently bought a cube from Knechts Auto Parts but I haven't tried it yet. I have used those in the past. Then there was the elongated version that had the two pokies (spanner) on one end and a hex the other end, difficult to handle while slipping off frequently. Thanks all from Larry G.
