Rambo
Hey guys. I've been having symptoms of a bad fuel filter and i want to give it a clean. However I have no idea whether it's a fuel injected or carburator model. Can anyone tell me how to find out the difference?
rdweninger
How do you tell the difference? If if has a carb, then it is carbed. If it has fuel injectors, it is fuel injected. Anywhere saying EFI is electronic fuel injection. Like SPFI or MPFI. Your '94 is fuel injected - last carb model was in '87 Google carb and/or fuel injector and click on images to see the diff. Len Dawg
Spfi-single port fuel injection it would say that on top of intake boot that sits on the manifold just one round piece over the center of body is an injector Carburetor would have an air cleaner on top
DaveT
94 should be spfi. Should have that embossed on the big preformed air intake duct that goes over to the MAF air filter box. Older carb models had the air cleaner on top of the carb.

MR_Loyale
You can't clean the fuel filter. They are replaced. The fuel filter sits on the driver's side in the engine bay towards the back near the firewall.
