The Dude
I did a webpage site search and nothing came up. Can anyone recommend a source for discount genuine Subaru parts? The local dealer wants $28 for belt 809218370. One on-line dealer wanted $18 for the belt, but wanted to charge $34.95 for the shipping. Thanks. wtdash
Which Internet? I just Google'd that #, and got this site near Seattle: http://parts.mikescarffsubaru.com/cart.aspx For $28.95 shipped. Call Jason Douglas there for maybe even a better deal...bought LOTS of parts from him always good service: Jason Douglas Dealer# 140714 Mike Scarff Subaru of Auburn 3025 Auburn way north Auburn, WA 98002 1-866-456-3025 253-737-1345 Edited August 10, 2016 by wtdash

brus brother
Try subarupartsforyou.com they are local to me here in CT at Dan Perkins Subaru. I can walk right in and order parts at the shop/internet price. Ask for John or Anthony and mention USMB.
idosubaru
nice hit on the amazon link i only buy from online dealers in certain situations - hard to get item, don't feel like driving to the dealer, or i'm buying a lot of parts at once. in general buying one part online through Subaru simply doesn't work out. they can't specialize enough to narrow down precise shipping - it would require a team of staff for the purpose - thereby cutting into any cost savings. as easy as a customer thinks it is to pay actual shipping or go to the post office - that's now how it works when you're shipping large quantities of items - it would require huge staff/logistics/programming to dial it in precisely. 86BRATMAN
I've had good experiences with www.subaruonlineparts.com they're based in Hicksville NY. I generally buy several things at once though, I'm working on an order list at them moment to take advantage of their free shipping on order over $99.
