turbosubarubrat
Wrong section to post in. You will have to take out your ignition key switch by drilling out a little pin. The easiest way to do this is to pull the whole steering column and working on it on a bench. Instead of fixing yours with a new key switch you can swap in a another loyale steering column from a parts car or the junkyard.
john in KY
Yeah, just swap the entire steering column. Thinking a total of 3 bolts. Plus I'll wager another complete steering column will cost less than a new ignition switch. Or just buy a used switch. thinking the switch has 2 headless bolts that have to come out. Cut a rough slot in them and they'll just screw out. Edited August 11, 2016 by john in KY
