Rooster2 Posted September 13, 2016 Share Posted September 13, 2016 Have you checked the fuse to see if okay. Don't know what unattached wire is for, but bet it is not for cig lighter. sirtokesalot Posted September 15, 2016 Share Posted September 15, 2016 i see the problem now. unplug the green wire that is attached to it currently and then plug that loose green wire in where the other one was. i dont know why subaru did that but that green wire thats with the black wire does not go to anything it ends at the plug. the loose green wire is the actual power for the lighter. bmaness Posted November 9, 2017 Share Posted November 9, 2017 95 legacy lsi So my cig lighter was working until I plugged in a 12v interior heater fan I bought to keep warm because my heater core sprung a leak and I plumbed it out of the circuit.
