dp213
My son just bought coil over suspension for his 02 wrx wagon. Right now it sits on stock suspension and I noticed 2 things, the back end sits about 1/2" lower than the front and also the back wheels are (cambered?) a little. When we lower it, I assume the wheels will tilt even more. To straighten the wheels back out do we need to buy any parts, or can this be corrected when we get it aligned? wtdash
Hi, I'd go see what others have done on NASIOC.com...not 'shooing' you away, just more Impreza/WRX/STi stuff over there. My .03 is you might need camber bolts on the rear...but I doubt it if you have coilovers specific to the car...they should've included any parts if needed to make it fit/align properly. Caboobaroo
First off, make sure the coil overs are for a wagon, not a sedan as the track width is different. Secondly, some rear coil overs have a slotted upper hole for the clevis bolt so it can have the camber adjusted. The coil overs should take care of the ride height issue but there are companies out there that make a "saggy butt spacer" to help even out ride height. Usually, those are for standard strut/spring combinations.
