Scott in Bellingham
Why the switch? Over the last year I've set up a nice Aluminum foundry at my shop for casting parts, now I'm ready to make all the patterns I need and start selling lift kits in all aluminum for all the Subaru models up to the present, lifts at 1/4" increments up to 2" in height, I can now offer more custom parts in any height or configuration you may want, I have a simpler material source Raw Aluminum, instead of needing to keep on hand many different sizes of steel and many different precut plates for the different models, also I can offer custom parts with your logo or artwork or lettering to make your parts personalized, for example on the kit above where it has SJR you could request a lions head or the name Gary , also there's more lift kit builders out there them there had been years ago and I need to stay at the forefront and offer what others are not, I will still offer the steel lift kits there is just more options for you car builders out there, what I really need now is help in setting up a better online store with all the options so I have my work cut out for me an I'm just a 1 man shop Scott Edited October 15, 2016 by Scott in Bellingham

Rust
I am the owner of the first casting of this kit. Order came quickly after sending payment. Came with a bag of nuts/bolts for mounting. Here is a pic of the 2002 LLBean Outback BEFORE the installation. And here is the Outback AFTER installing the kit. I added a set of Nokian Snow tires. I had to do some grinding of some mounting tabs inside the front strut towers but otherwise a straight bolt on procedure. I also had to install a set of Heri HD subaru axles up front. The original axles could not take the lift. The are performing well, around 2000 miles so far. Overall does well on the backwoods trails/roads as well as cruising at 85mph on the highway. I am very happy with this Kit, and would recommend SJR to anyone thinking of purchasing this kit. Edited December 15, 2016 by Rust
