tcporsche Posted November 1, 2016 Share Posted November 1, 2016 Hi everyone,I put the 32/36 weber DGEV carb.in 2 years ago.Used the correct manifold.ect,ect,ect.My problem is at first start it feels like it's running on 2 cyls. Can't drive till it warms up (about 5 mins.)If you put in gear before this it just stalls.I've checked for vacuum leaks,correct timing,idle,mixture,plugs,coil,wires,ect.NO LUCK! anybody done this swap and had similar problems?Once it runs good it's good for the rest of the day.fuel pressure and quantity are good. car is 1984 gl sw EA81 1.8l. I rebuilt an old weber and the hole where the choke rod went into the body of the carb was so worn the choke wouldn't work properly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
