phyregold
I recently had to get my engine replaced and after the engine replaced, and they swear they didn't do it. They've checked the voltage all the way up to the part where Subaru says you need Subaru's specific device. So of course I've screwed right now because they couldn't have possibiy did anything with the tranny replacing the engine. The light did go off but then came back on after revving the engine. Any help is welcomed.

1 Lucky Texan
this could easily happen if the transmission pan was dented - or maybe just 'deflected'. damaging a solenoid. 2 or 3 other possibilities i guess. Try a search, kinda common code after engine/trans work actually.
Fairtax4me
They put a jack under the trans pan to lift up the trans when they were removing the engine, crushed the solenoid. Happens pretty often. Barely 1/8" between that flimsy Trans pan and the solenoids on the valve body. If the pan gets ANY weight put on it it can damage the solenoids.
