JHBrooks
I have an 02 Outback wagon with an EJ25 SOHC that I noticed that the cooling fans run all the time, even when the engine is cold. I just noticed today that the run when the inside fan switch is on. Have to try when the engin is warm if the fans turn on when the switch is off to avoid overheating. I change the temp control sensor, no change. Anyone have any thoughts?
golucky66
The fan(s) will turn on when the A/C is on. Or the defrost is on because that turns on the A/C. If you are sure the A/C switch is off and the defrost is off, check the A/C compressor clutch to see if it's engaged. It is possible a switch is bad in your HVAC system that is keeping the A/C on and therefore the fans
