So, for those that seen what I was trying, a update.

So far the 32/36 on the moded E82 intake has been great, lots of top end, good on the low end only during warm weather, best fuel economy was 21 city 32 highway, note warm.

Winter is here, best city 17mpg warm up is long, ice build up around carb base 1/8" or so, fluctuation in ideal speed, most likely because of ice. Hesitation off the line, not what I was hopping for.

So now going to add coolant passages in base to see if remmidies the current issues.

Let it set once warm it breaks the tires lose, try that after driving at about 2,500 rpms won't happen. RnD

The original EA82 carburetor intake, has a built-in coolant passage to warm the Hitachi carburetor, which needs to be Blocked off during a Weber Swap, to prevent coolant from getting into the combustion chamber in a Leakage; but I don't know how is your custom intake's setup.

But there is another thread which has posts regarding how to prevent the Weber carburetor from icying, and they came with the idea of retrofitting the original air filter Box, in order to re-attach the metallic hose that comes from the cover of the "Y" pipe's catalytic converter, with the idea of let it get warm air, as it was originally designed.

Maybe this idea could help you, Kind Regards.
