Tcdaddy Posted December 29, 2016 Share Posted December 29, 2016 I've had this car for about three years now (1990 Legacy LS automatic) and have not been able to figure out what this button is for or what it's supposed to do. The girlfriend and I have been guessing everything from ejector seat to self-destruct control. Or maybe they put it there just to drive us crazy guessing. It allows you to shift the transmission w/out putting in the key and pushing the brake. Ensure the PARKING BRAKE is SET before messing w/it...so you don't roll away.
