rogerz
05 outback wagon base model. Put new front axles and shocks. NOw I get ABS light, check engine light, seat belt chime even tho plugged in and cruise control keeps flashing. New battery fully charged. checked the fuses that are indicated for the abs system and ecu. battery was disconnected when the ;mechanical stuff was done so not likely a blown fuse. tranny locked in park unless you push down the secret button to unlock it. brake fluid full up. brakes work but no abs. drove over a mile at about 40 to a parts store. they tried to reset computer but just goes back to check engine, speed sensor A indicated as problem. Any thoughts welcome
1 Lucky Texan
wheel speed sensor connector may be lose or wires damaged from the recent work. what codes were in the ECU? get the OBDII scasnned again and post the error codes. try using the fob to cycle the security system a coupla times. idosubaru
Check Engine light - Read the code - it's telling you what the problem (regarding the ECU anyway) is, and post the exact number here. Speed sensor - you damaged the sensor, connector, or wheel bearing with the integrated tone ring. Check continuity and resistance per the FSM.
