northguy
That's right! I got an oil change for my wife's legacy with a factory oil filter for $10 in Soldotna. The guy who owns the shop originally started AAA Subaru in Anchorage, but there was a parting of the ways, so he kept the name and moved south. The shop in Anchorage (AAA-1 Subaru) is the one everyone loves to hate. This guy also has two 360's in front of his shop, a Brat with a plow on the front and a wrecker attachment in the bed, and a ton of old used up subies for parts. Seemed like a good guy - knew his stuff. I'll post pictures of the 360's later - one used to belong to Evil Kenivel.

PHATBRAT
Forget the pic of the 360's......BORING! I want to see a few pics of the BRAT with a plow and wrecker attachment. That sounds really cool!
edrach
Soldotna....I've been there. Quite a ride from Anchorage if I remember correctly. Especially if they close those avalanche gates on the road there. You brought back some old memories.
Chris W.
Cool, yet another reason to move there! My wife grew up in the Soldotna/Sterling area, and I'm really wishing I would have moved up there instead of dragging her down here......Thanks for the heads up. Cheers, Chris
