1997reduxe
Hey all. I'm mainly in the legacy section of this forum. And 90s at that. ???? But I just wondered why biz and scion are both in this section are they related? Wondering... '

AdventureSubaru
Yes. The Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ are twins. History shows Subaru did most of the engineering but Toyota/scion took equal credit. Nifty cars. Sad they aren't AWD.
Naked Buell
I second that notion. Subaru not being Awd. I was disappointed.
Dj7291993
BRZ, FRS, and GT86 are all the same car, just with different badges and slight tweaks. The car was a joint project between toyota and subaru. In the us, toyota sold theirs under the scion badge.
TurboRev
Same car just different badges. And I agree with the Subaru not being AWD
TheLoyale
They could of offered AWD as an option as they did with their models till 94 (93 for Impreza) But the idea behind this car was to be a RWD N/A corner machine. For SUBARU it worked out, but I think the FT86 was a sad attempt to bring back the AE86 Corrola (Hachiroku) drift machine that Toyota was so strongly trying to reinvision.
