AlbanyNY
I recently put it on ebay with a $2000. Reserve. It only got up to $1850 but a nice guy from Kansas emailed me about it. He REALLY wanted it. He flew into Albany NY last night at 8pm and drove away an hour later in his new 86 Brat. 1300 miles to his home. He's probably still driving now. BYE BYE Brat. PHATBRAT
Did you tell him about the board? I am sad to see it go. I really liked that one. Are you still gonna be around the board?
AlbanyNY
here's what I did with the money. I had the hardwoods floors redone in an apartment building I own.

PHATBRAT
WOW! Nice job. How long did it take them?
AlbanyNY
WOW! Nice job. How long did it take them?It took two guys 2 days to sand it and then 3 days to coat it with urathane. There's at least 3 other rooms you can't see. The sanding took longer than the urathaning. UPDATE on the brats journey!!! He made it without any issues!!! WOW! I'm not surprised though. It was a beauty and ran like a clock once I got all the bugs out of it. Every stinking long trip (200 miles or less) I took in it something always broke... like CV joints, heater hoses, radiator hoses etc etc. He writes... Just got back at noon Kansas time today. Great trip! 1350 miles. I stayed in St. Louis last night and finished the 6 hour drive this morning. I averaged 34 mpg. The Brat came right along. I'm anxious to get started on detailing it. Thanks so much. Great to meet you and Herman. You're a couple of good guys. I may have a couple of questions for you later. I'm busy catching up on stuff right now. Talk with you later.
