Junkyardmongrel1
1990 legacy, 2.2. Passenge side cylinder (#1 cylinder?) misfiring. Majority of the time she's running on 3 cylinders. Sometimes runs on 4. New plugs and wires, pulled the wire and the coil IS firing and the plug comes out clean. My guess is I have a bum injector. But being my first subaru, I don't know if this is a common issue, or what. Also, I have an exhaust leak on the passenger side bank. Not sure if that may be causing the problem or not. Has anyone had this issue before. Any thoughts or suggestions??
turbosubarubrat
Replace the injectors with red top used ones or buy new ones. The early grey top injectors out of your car have a high failure rate.

Junkyardmongrel1
What vehicles to the red tops come out of?
Rallyru
A quick Google search that led me back to this site says they came in 92-98 ej22/ej25. Also this is the wrong section to be posting technical questions. This should be in "1990 to present legacy, Impreza, Outback"

Rallyru
It's all good. Just trying to help you post in location where somebody with the answer is more likely to see your question and respond faster.
