Fatbuford
Guys, On other blog sites I've seen lifted 02-03 OBW. Is there a do's and don't for finding the proper lift kit? I am talking 2" max. Does it affect the driveline geometry like a traditional SUV? Recommendations are welcome.
Scott in Bellingham
On that model 2" or less you can get by with just the strut lift, it will give the axles a greater angle, best to also drop the rear trailing arms Here's my kit for that model, if you go less say 1" just need strut spacers http://www.sjrlift.com/index.php/catalog/lift-kits/0-2-lift-kit-2000-25-detail
OSC Jake
Thanks, Scott, this is helpful as I'm somewhat interested in a similar build. Do you know if someone could combine that lift with King Springs for more lift, then use sub frame spacers to drop the other components down? My thoughts are that I can get similar geometry compared to just using the 2" spacer lift but allow bigger tires under the car (possibly having to cut fenders as well). Just curious. Thanks again!
