dumptruck
I swapped a 1999 EJ22 in place of my EA in my 87 wagon. I used the adapter plate from SJR, I assume the two tabs pointing up are for some sort of Mount for a pitch stop? What are people generally doing for a pitch stop? My wagon is also lifted 4 inches which will put it at more of an angle, do people make any changes for that? Pictures of what the tabs on the SJR adapter are for would be helpful I think also. Naked Buell
Some use the pitch stop and some don't. I used mine when I put the 2.2T in my Brat. You want it in there in my opinion to help stabilize the engine. If Subaru designed it to be there, it should.
Scott in Bellingham
The bracket from the ea82 engine will bolt up to those tabs , you will need to lengthen your pitch stopper bar
