Starlite
Hello there is two screws on my carb. Is there a basic setting on these? And now to the annoying part because when i unscrew the idlescrew on the back side of the carb it jammed. Resulting a broken needlejet and broken threads in the carb body. Luckily i have a spare carb which i used. Unscrewed the same fast needle jet and the same spoob happened again. But this time i got it out alive and noticed the rubber on the needle was loose. Is there a better way to make this work or do i have to buy new needles?
DaveT
I am confused by the title. MPFI doesn't use a carb, as far as I know. It would have a throttle body. Model & year might help get more replies also.

naru
Use the vertical one to set base idle to 700 for manual and 800 for auto w/engine fully warm. The horizontal one only adjusts fast idle when the FICD(fast idle control device- a solenoid) is energized.(AC on) Dunno about the needles Edited May 17, 2017 by naru
