dilly Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 Saw a video some time back of replacing clutch on '84 Brat..He lowered front of engine and raised back of transaxle..Can't find it now ? Subaru Scott Posted June 21, 2017 Share Posted June 21, 2017 I did plenty of clutches on 1st and 2nd generations like that. Pull the radiator, undo exhaust, bellhousing and motor mounts. Jack up transmission till engine mounts were clear, then slide motor out on a floor jack and tilt it forward. Plenty of room, and you can leave hoses, wiring, alternator, compressor, etc connected. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
