WJM
[ranting] ...non Intercooled GL-10!!! Today at WJM Rallye Sport....the GL-10 broke its turbo inlet pipe! So...had to find another...this one ofcourse does not have the BOV inlet on it...so my BOV is venting to the atmos and cause driveability issues! But makes a cool sound and people turn heads...then lauge. SO then....i fill her up...15.5 gallons.... 332 miles...thats about 21.4 MPGs. WTF???? I was getting 26-28!!! All of a sudden...keeps getting less and less....ofcourse, it keeps getting hotter and hotter and i keep having to use more and more pedal to get going and maintain speed. Anyone else experience this in hot humid weather behavior??????? And then...im really really missing my low and stiff ultra grippy suspension....waiting one some $ to get some WRX bumpstops and figure out how to increase the dampening rate of the stock struts....autocross comming up on the 27th...of THIS month...gotta work fast!! I am also trying to come up with more ideas on my intake plans...nothing is really planning out...and this WRX TMIC is just eating me alive wanting me to install it...but alas, no $ to support a proper install....and that broken spring perch on that strut too.... subynut
Subies don't like hot n' dry air either. Since we've been running in the mid 90's, Suby's milage has dropped about 50 miles! Instead of 250-270, I get less than 200! [note to self] Get going on that engine transplant! [\note to self]
calebz
Mid 90s here.. 80-100% humidity at all times.. yuck.. 90 degrees .. heat index puts it up to 110 or so.. just nasty.. My soob doesn't like it much either. However, the IC and IC sprayer sure do help:)
desertsubaru
Here in Arizona is dry as a popcorn fart and my soob dont like hot! I know i have to replace rad but dont have the bucks right now so i took my old air condenser from A/C and hooked it to my heater hoses and put it where spare goes then put electric fan from jy on it. Real good temp fix drop temp by allmost half!
