heinz57
My 2nd Outback. Ski Patrol caused me to buy them. Never had a real problem with them, until now: Position-lights are staying on, even with the keys removed. I will post that where ever appropriate. moosens
Switch atop the steering column is for your dedicated parking lights. Turn it off and enjoy your time here. Cheers!
987687
Ahhh another case of someone bumping the "subaru virgin" switch. You'll only do it once
golucky66
Haha. Sorry to laugh. But a friend of mine who's a Subaru tech said they'd get about 2-3 people in a week for that exact same issue. The switch on top of the steering column is in the worst spot ever Imo. Can't see it ever. Always hit it when cleaning. Just dumb
Subaru Scott
Has anybody ever purposely used it... ever?
987687
My mercedes has an even more annoying "feature"... The two options left of off turn on just the right side, or just the left side parking lights. So you go to turn the lights off and bam, you turned the lights back on again... I guess it's so you can leave lights on just one side when you're parked on a narrow german road without killing the battery all night. Same as the subaru virgin switch, I doubt anyone actually ever used it. Just required by law in the country of origin.
